We tend to give in to our sugary and fried food cravings and put on oodles of weight. Here are some tips to enjoy your favorite food without putting on weight and enjoying a healthy diet. These are healthy lifestyle choices you must make.

Binge Eating:

Often a stressed person tends to binge eat to forget his tensions momentarily. But a better option would be to seek out somebody to talk to or work out in the gym to let go of stress. You need to exercise control over binge eating issues as these tend to become a habit later and lead to weight gain and further depression.

Favorite Food: 

All of us have a personal favorite choice of food and when available we do indulge in eating that particular food item in large quantities. In such cases it is a good idea to keep away some of your favorite dishes in the refrigerator to be consumed later. Always eat your favorite food in small quantities. Never deprive yourself of your favorite food.

Dieting and Starving

Often people tend to eat incorrectly. They try to diet and starve and then give in to their cravings suddenly. Such incorrect patterns make you overeat and makes your digestive system also weak. Never skip meals as this will only make you eat more later on and put on more weight.

Every 2 hours: 

Learn from little children who eat every 2 hours, a limited portion and stay slim and healthy. 

Ask an expert: 

If you find you need to control your diet properly, then you must take guidance of a nutritionist. Ask a dietician to give you a well-planned healthy meal chart to help you eat moderately without missing out on your favorite food.

Hunger Signs: 

 People eat by the clock these days even if they are not hungry. Hunger signs mean a sense of rumbling in the stomach, inability to concentrate in the work. Severe hunger can also lead to feeling light-headedness and feeling weak. Never skip breakfast and eat a hearty meal at this time. 

Mouth Hungry:  

Often, people just get bored of sitting idle. Eating comes first in their minds, when they are bored. but you need to analyze whether you are actually mouth hungry or stomach hungry. A small craving can be satisfied by munching on a carrot stick.

Only Thirsty: 

At times, you could be just thirsty and not hungry. Your body is asking for fluids to quench your thirst. If you have eaten 2 hours back satiably, then your body is definitely not asking for food. 

Your stomach is not a dustbin: 

There are some women who have always managed to eat sensibly till they reach their 30s. But a house full of kids also means a house full of leftover food. As a homemaker you do not want to throw away costly food and so you start putting in all the leftovers into your stomachs. Give everyone limited portions or put the leftovers in the fridge to be consumed later.
